Calvary Chapel of the Palouse Calvary Chapel of the Palouse

As a Fellowship which believes that God’s Word is the ultimate source for instruction concerning every aspect of our life, we also believe it is essential for us to devote ourselves to the Word in private as well as in fellowship with other believers. In order to provide an opportunity to do this for inmates at the Whitman County Jail in Colfax, Wash, we hold a Men’s Bible Study there every Saturday night at 6:30 p.m.

With the variety of issues these men are dealing with, usually at one time, it is a good opportunity to visit a little and encourage them regarding the Biblical application to their lives. For many of these men this can be very difficult due to non-Christian influence from both the legal/judicial sphere and family or friends.

Also, for inmates who are in “Work Release” and have received approval from the Captain of the Jail, we will transport to and from the Church on Sunday.
